Salary Range:

$60,000•90,000 (Salary will be prorated based on # of classes assigned)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Part-Time Elementary STEM Teacher to inspire young learners in grades Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd grade. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity and a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on, age-appropriate lessons that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging STEM lessons aligned with grade-level standards and developmental needs. Introduce foundational concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive activities and projects. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. Use inquiry-based learning strategies to promote curiosity and experimentation. Integrate technology tools appropriately to enhance learning experiences. Assess student progress through informal and formal methods, providing feedback to students and families as needed. Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support cross-curricular connections. Maintain classroom materials, supplies, and STEM equipment. Ensure a safe and organized learning environment at all times.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, STEM-related field, or a related discipline (teaching credential preferred but not required). Experience working with young children (TK-3rd grade) in an educational setting. Strong understanding of elementary STEM concepts and teaching strategies. Ability to design hands-on, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence in young learners. Ability to teach from a Christ-centered Biblical Worldview.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching credential or certification in elementary education. Experience with project-based learning or STEM programs. Familiarity with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards). Experience integrating technology (e.g., coding basics, educational apps, robotics kits).

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time position (hours/days flexible based on program needs). Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
