In this role, you will create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth. Your passion for teaching and commitment to student success will help shape the educational journey of children in their crucial third year of elementary school. Responsibilities Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies. Utilize diverse teaching strategies including curriculum development, learning technology integration, and differentiated instruction to meet varied student needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and classroom management skills to create a safe learning environment. Assess student progress regularly using formative and standardized testing methods; adjust instruction accordingly to support individual growth. Collaborate with special education teams. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming classroom activities. Skills Proven experience in classroom teaching with a strong background in childhood development and early childhood education principles. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Proficiency in working with learning technology tools and integrating digital resources into lessons. Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and managing standardized testing procedures. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a positive classroom atmosphere. Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Writing skills necessary for creating detailed lesson plans, assessments, and progress reports. Experience working with children in private school or Montessori settings is a plus but not required.
