We are hiring for multiple elementary teaching positions across our Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday hybrid campuses. We are looking for educators who love children, value strong academics, and desire to partner with homeschool families in a collaborative learning environment. This position is ideal for experienced classroom teachers, private school educators, homeschool educators, and others with a strong background in elementary education who are seeking a meaningful part-time teaching opportunity.

Castle Rock and Littleton, Colorado Schedule:
Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday teaching schedule 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM August through May Additional staff training and back-to-school events prior to the start of the school year
Compensation & Employment:
Starting at $28,000 annually W2 Employee of Forging Education Free tuition for enrolled children in our two-day academic program

Class sizes are capped at approximately 16 students Strong partnerships with engaged homeschool families Curriculum and instructional resources provided Meaningful teaching with a flexible weekly schedule Supportive team environment focused on student success About Castlewood Classical Academy Castlewood Classical Academy is a Christian, classical hybrid program under Forging Education that partners with homeschool families to provide rigorous academic instruction in a collaborative, faith-based educational environment. Students attend classes on campus two days per week and complete collaborative learning at home under the guidance of their parents. Our model emphasizes academic excellence, strong family partnerships, and a classical approach to education that cultivates critical thinking, curiosity, and a love of learning. We are committed to providing engaging instruction, small class sizes, and a supportive community for both students and educators. Responsibilities Teach an assigned elementary grade level. Design and implement engaging lesson plans using curriculum provided by the school. Provide instruction in mathematics, language arts, science, history, Bible, and enrichment subjects while adapting lessons to meet student needs. Create a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, respect, and a love of learning. Effectively manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies and consistent expectations. Foster strong relationships with students and families. Partner with parents as educational collaborators, maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding student progress, academic expectations, and classroom activities. Provide guidance and support to parents as they implement learning at home, recognizing the unique partnership inherent in a hybrid educational model. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to families. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to ensure a consistent and supportive educational experience. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Maintain classroom organization, records, and instructional materials. Support the mission, culture, and educational philosophy of Castlewood Classical Academy.
Qualifications Preferred candidates will have:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any field, Education or related is preferred. At least 2-3 years of lead classroom teaching experience. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with elementary-aged students. The ability to build strong partnerships with parents and effectively communicate student progress and expectations. An understanding of, or willingness to learn, classical education methods. The ability to work collaboratively with families, fellow educators, and school leadership. Must be willing and able to sign the organization's Statement of Faith as a condition of employment. Must successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting prior to employment.
