We are a close-knit community committed to fostering a culture of belonging, where teachers, families, and students collaborate to create a supportive and enriching environment. We have two Primary classrooms, one with 4 teachers and 22 students and the other with 3 teachers and 20 students. We offer competitive pay with great benefits! Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Primary Montessori Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is kind, organized, professional, and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of ownership over their classroom and a willingness to serve as a leader among their peers. We are looking for someone who delivers lessons thoughtfully and authentically within the Montessori philosophy while demonstrating a love of learning and a commitment to professional growth. This individual should bring creativity, enthusiasm, and initiative to their work and be confident in independently managing and guiding their classroom community. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori curriculum tailored to the needs of primary-aged children Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions with positive reinforcement strategies Collaborate with families to communicate student progress and support individual learning goals Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments, and classroom activities Lead and guide the students and adults in their classroom Participate in community events and four parent education nights throughout the year. Experience
  • At least 1 year of Lead Teacher experience
  • At least 1 year teaching full time in a Primary Montessori classroom
  • Must have Montessori Primary Teacher Certification from an AMS or AMI recognized program.
Fully in person training highly preferred.
