Job Description

We're a community of educators dedicated to helping students develop a passion for learning while empowering them to become open-minded, principled citizens in a global community. Whitby's staff and faculty are passionate about teaching because we ourselves are passionate about learning.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Our Lower School is seeking an experienced, innovative classroom teacher who excels in a highly collaborative, co-teaching environment. Sharing classroom responsibility with a co-teacher, you will provide the deep differentiation and small-group support necessary for first-grade success. While experience with the IBPYP is a distinct advantage, we prioritize a commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and a desire to grow within our dynamic faculty. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven community dedicated to our students, our colleagues, and the broader Whitby vision.
