Job Description

Sacred Heart School, a Catholic co-educational pre-kindergarten to eighth grade parochial school, is seeking a full-time elementary school teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Catholic education, a love for teaching children, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and students to enhance the school community and support student development. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media to engage learners. Incorporate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans Integrate faith into learning experiences and model the Catholic values in words and actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. Master's degree preferred. Connecticut teaching license. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
