Our Second Grade teachers help students build strong academic foundations while fostering creativity, curiosity, confidence, and independence. Endorsement, Education, and Experience Requirements Successful candidates must possess strong instructional practices, excellent classroom management skills, and a deep commitment to the academic and social-emotional development of young children. Experience teaching primary elementary students and a demonstrated ability to support diverse learners is preferred. Connecticut State Certification 305 (Elementary Education) or other appropriate Connecticut certification required.
