Job Description
Elementary Classroom Teacher:
Work in a school that honors your voice and talents and respects your professionalism!- must have a BA or MA in Elementary Education and possess or be eligible to obtain Florida K-6 certification, Reading, and ESOL Endorsement.
- applicants should be flexible, have a growth mindset, be open to corrective feedback, and want to work in a learning environment that has high expectations, is supportive, fun, and mutually respectful to adults and students. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- supervising, educating, and supporting students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks
- planning lessons that target specific skills and concepts, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson and providing individual support and feedback for students
- establishing and maintaining a structured, positive, and safe learning environment based on mutual respect that honors students' voice
- preparing lessons, units, and projects to complete learning objectives
- establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects
- adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students - differentiation
- communicating with parents
