Elementary Lead Teacher

Hope Ranch Learning Academy is a private Christian school in Hudson, Florida set on a horse ranch serving students with unique abilities. We are seeking Elementary Lead Teachers who are passionate about education and have strong command presence in the classroom.

Our work environment includes:

Loving Christian Environment. Horses on the property and Horse Program. Small Classroom Size of 15 Max. Teaching Assistant Support (2 per classroom). We are seeking a passionate, highly experienced Elementary Teacher to join our team and provide specialized instruction to students with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be able to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement creative lesson plans. Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students. Assess student progress and modify instruction as needed. Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students. Provide support to families of students. Attend Service Plan meetings and other meetings related to student's education. Develop Teaching Assistants to be a productive member of the team. Our small class size of no more than 15 students provides our students with individualized attention. Teaching Assistants support Teacher instruction in each classroom. Our program helps students develop strong character traits such as kindness, respect, accountability, citizenship and many others.

Qualifications:

BA Degree in Education or Related Field (Required). Teaching Certification (Required). 3yrs+ Teaching Experience (Required). Experience Working with Students with Disabilities (Preferred). Ability to Pass a Level 2 Background Check.

Pay:

$45,000.00•$50,000 per year (based on certifications and experience).

About Hope Ranch Learning Academy:

Our non-Denominational Christian Private School is set on a wooded horse ranch, and we focus on students with Autism and other learning disabilities. We use innovative teaching and classroom management techniques which include the Teaching Family Model and horse interaction as part of the academic experience.

Classrooms consist of 1 Lead Teacher, 1-2 Teaching Assistants and a maximum of 15 students. The Elementary classroom has a 5:1 Student to Instructor ratio and our Middle and High School Classroom has a max of 8:1 Student to Instructor ratio.
