Teaching Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher (Reading, Math, Social Studies & Science) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in elementary education and a love for teaching young students. This role involves developing engaging curriculum plans that encourage curiosity and a love for learning in the fields of math and science.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for various grade levels in reading, social studies, math and science subjects that meets state standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' social and emotional growth. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assess and monitor students' progress through observations, assignments, and testing, and provide feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in professional development opportunities. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Master's preferred). Valid teaching certificate in Elementary Education or related field. Proven experience teaching math and/or science at the elementary level is preferred. Strong understanding of child development and best practices in teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities. Commitment to creating a safe and conducive learning environment. Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
