The Role:

• Teach and inspire second-grade students, fostering a love for learning through engaging lessons and activities.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards, focusing on literacy, math, science, and social studies.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student growth and achievement.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certification for elementary education.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.

Preferred:

• Experience teaching K-8 students, particularly in second grade.
• A passion for child development and education.
• Knowledge of current educational technology and resources.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
