The Role:
- Teach and inspire second-grade students, fostering a love for learning through engaging lessons and activities.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards, focusing on literacy, math, science, and social studies.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student growth and achievement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certification for elementary education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching K-8 students, particularly in second grade.
- A passion for child development and education.
- Knowledge of current educational technology and resources.
