The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment, supporting student development, and implementing engaging curriculum across various subjects. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' academic and social growth through innovative teaching methods and personalized mentorship. Candidates with experience in early childhood education, special education, or working with children with diverse needs are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, science, and social studies. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Incorporate learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations. Provide individualized tutoring and support for students requiring additional assistance or special education services. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support student learning plans, including early intervention programs and working with children with autism or other special needs. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral reports. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional development and positive interactions among students. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications or specialized training in early childhood education or special education preferred. Proven classroom experience with elementary-aged students, including experience working with children with diverse needs such as autism or behavior challenges. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proficiency in learning technology tools and educational software applications. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures. Experience with tutoring, library services integration, or private school settings is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate excellent writing skills for lesson documentation and parent communication. Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners' growth and development.
