Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports students with special needs or those requiring early intervention strategies. Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate personalized learning experiences. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations and tutoring sessions. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes. Mentor new teachers or interns by sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and working with children of varying abilities. Engage with families through effective communication skills to discuss student progress, behavioral concerns, and ways to support learning at home. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and behavioral incidents while ensuring compliance with education administration policies. Support library services or other extracurricular activities that promote literacy education and holistic student development. Experience Prior classroom experience working with students from kindergarten through fifth grade in either public or private school settings. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing preparation. Experience working with children with autism or other special needs populations; familiarity with early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori or early intervention programs is a plus. Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively using behavior management techniques and classroom management skills. Knowledge of learning technology tools used for instruction and assessment purposes. Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, mentoring peers or new teachers, and engaging parents or guardians. Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction to support diverse learner needs is highly desirable. Familiarity with education administration procedures related to record keeping, reporting requirements, and compliance standards.
