Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Designs lessons to promote student engagement through active learning, hands-on application, and teacher-student and student-student conversations regarding the learning. Uses formal and informal assessment strategies to maximize student achievement and modify instructional strategies as needed. Collects and utilizes data for continual improvement. Submits collaborative lesson plans timely Regularly updates digital gradebook and communicates with parents regarding student progress Promotes independent and collaborative work ethic. Participates in professional learning communities and attends professional development opportunities to fully meet each child's needs. Uses various assessment tools / strategies such as observations, continuums of development, portfolios, and daily assessments to help make instructional decisions for individual students. Maintains accurate records as required by law and administrative regulation.
