Grade 5 Teachers

Position Overview Warner Christian Academy is seeking two passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Teachers for the upcoming school year. These positions are part of a departmentalized 5th grade model in which both teachers serve as homeroom teachers and teach Bible , while specializing in either STEM or Humanities instruction. Available Positions 1. 5th Grade Math/Science Teacher Bible Mathematics Science 2. 5th Grade ELA/History Teacher Bible English Language Arts History/Social Studies The ideal candidates are committed Christian educators who love upper elementary students, value academic excellence, and desire to partner with families in helping students grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. At Warner Christian Academy, teaching is viewed as both an academic and discipleship calling. Teachers are expected to cultivate classrooms where students grow in Christlike character while developing curiosity, wisdom, diligence, humility, and other habits of thoughtful learning. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in assigned subject areas Teach Bible and integrate a biblical worldview throughout all instruction Foster a positive, orderly, and Christ-centered classroom culture Assess student learning regularly and use data to inform instruction Communicate effectively and consistently with parents Collaborate closely with grade-level teammates and school leadership Support student development academically, spiritually, and socially Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Education or related field preferred) Valid teaching certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Commitment to Christian education and agreement with the school's mission and statement of faith Prior upper elementary or middle school teaching experience preferred About Warner Christian Academy Warner Christian Academy partners with families to cultivate students who are grounded in truth, growing in Christlike character, and developing the intellectual virtues needed to flourish as lifelong learners and servant leaders.
