Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the daily functions of the Pre-K classroom Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for preschool-aged children Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided through our Balanced Learning® curriculum Maintain a well-kept, engaging classroom that fosters exploration, creativity, and confidence Provide consistent expectations and positive recognition for children's growth and behavior Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start (BFTS), state, and national regulations Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build a strong, supportive community Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Assist with classroom upkeep and other duties as needed
Qualifications :
Must be at least 21 years of age Must pass a comprehensive background check (fingerprinting required) Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for nurturing and educating young children Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (including infants, if applicable) One of the following educational credentials: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
