Based on Experience Full Job Description Intentionally Great Learning Center (IGLC) is seeking a passionate, creative, and highly effective Early Elementary Teacher to join our growing Christ-centered microschool. At IGLC, we do school differently. We are not a traditional classroom environment where all students are expected to move at the same pace. We believe every child is uniquely created by God and deserves individualized instruction that meets them where they are academically while helping them reach their fullest potential. Our ideal teacher understands that learning is not one-size-fits-all and is excited about working in a small, unconventional learning environment where student growth is prioritized over simply covering curriculum. This position requires a teacher who is passionate about helping students develop a love for learning, willing to think outside the box, and committed to providing individualized support that produces exceptional results. About IGLC Intentionally Great Learning Center is a Christ-centered microschool serving students from PreK3 through 5th grade. Through individualized learning plans, small group instruction, project-based learning, outdoor education, and strong family partnerships, we help students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

In order for one to be great, they must be intentional. ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Student Growth Provide high-quality instruction in Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies Assess students regularly and provide instruction based on individual academic levels rather than grade-level labels alone Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of struggling, on-level, and advanced learners Conduct daily small-group and one-on-one instruction Utilize student data to create individualized learning goals Monitor student progress and communicate growth with families Foster a love of learning through engaging and meaningful lessons Classroom Environment Create a nurturing, positive, and structured classroom culture Build strong relationships with students and families Support social-emotional development and character growth Maintain high expectations while providing individualized support Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independence Project-Based & Experiential Learning Participate in project-based learning initiatives Help facilitate hands-on learning experiences Support outdoor learning opportunities and educational field experiences Connect learning to real-world applications whenever possible Collaboration Work closely with school leadership and fellow teachers Participate in professional development and planning meetings Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress Collaborate to create innovative solutions for student success Qualifications required Minimum of 4 years classroom teaching experience in elementary or higher Strong understanding of literacy and mathematics instruction in the early elementary grades Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to differentiate instruction for multiple learning levels Preferred Bachelor's degree in education Georgia Teaching Certificate Experience in a private school, microschool, homeschool, or multi-age classroom environment Experience with individualized learning models Experience using student assessment data to drive instruction Familiarity with project-based learning and hands-on instructional approaches The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: ✔ Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is comfortable working in a Christian environment ✔ Believes children learn best when they are known, valued, and taught as individuals ✔ Is passionate about helping struggling learners catch up and helping advanced learners continue to grow ✔ Loves working in small groups and providing one-on-one instruction ✔ Is flexible, creative, and willing to think outside the box ✔ Understands that relationships are the foundation of learning ✔ Is growth-minded and committed to continuous improvement ✔ Values collaboration and teamwork ✔ Believes every child is capable of greatness when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities Why Join IGLC?
