Teachers are members of the CEO's instructional team and are responsible for duties related to academic programs and operational practices.General Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare students to be ready for the next grade. Uses available technology to enhance the students' learning experiences. Attends and participates in faculty meetings and extra-curricular/school related activities. Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates behavior that is conscientious and responsible. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the CEO. Follows professional practices consistent with school policies in working with students, students' records, parents, and colleagues Facilitates home-school communication by such means as a communication folder, scheduling conferences, telephoning, and sending written communications Demonstrates professional practices in teaching: Models correct use of language, oral and written Demonstrates accurate and up-to-date knowledge of content Implements designated curriculum and grade level standards Assigns instructional tasks and homework to students Takes precautions to protect records, equipment, materials, and facilities Complete our online application and send resume with letter of introduction to SCA's CEO- Barry K. Education Level:
Degree from an accredited college or university with teaching certification. Certified or eleigible to be certified as a Georgia teacher in the related content area.NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
