Elementary School Teacher

Elementary Teacher - Classical Christian School Clear Lake Classical is seeking a loving, organized, and joyful elementary teacher for our Lower School. We are looking for a teacher who loves Christ, loves children, and desires to cultivate a classroom marked by order, attentiveness, wonder, and joy. Our teachers seek to shepherd students spiritually and academically through a classical Christian approach to education. Candidates should value strong classroom culture, clear communication, and the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty in all subjects.

Responsibilities include:

Teaching elementary students in a structured and engaging classroom environment Planning and teaching lessons using the school's curriculum and instructional expectations Cultivating student attentiveness, respect, and self-control Communicating clearly and graciously with parents and administration Maintaining classroom order and supporting the mission and culture of the school Participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development Working collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership

Qualifications:

A personal and growing Christian faith Agreement with the school's mission and statement of faith A love for children and a desire to disciple students Strong classroom management and organizational skills Bachelor's degree preferred Teaching experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate Desire to grow in classical Christian education We desire teachers who are humble, hardworking, teachable, and excited to help students grow both academically and spiritually.
