3rd Grade Classroom Teacher (2026-2027)

Iowa Valley Elementary is seeking a 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Iowa Valley Community School District is a rural public school district headquartered in Marengo, Iowa. The district spans areas of north-central Iowa County, including the town of Marengo, and the unincorporated area of Koszta, Iowa. An elementary classroom teacher is responsible for educating young minds, creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Assess Student Performance :

Evaluate student progress through various assessments and provide feedback to students and parents regarding their academic development. Create a

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and improve teaching strategies.

Experience :

Previous experience in teaching at the elementary level is preferred but not required.

Skills:

Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in using educational technology is also important. Iowa Valley CSD is an EEO.
