Full-time, Contract (174 Days) About the District Orofino Joint School District 171 is seeking dedicated, student-centered certified professionals to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Orofino Jr/Sr High School Athletic/Activities Director/ Orofino Jr/Sr High School Elementary Head Teacher:

Peck Elementary School 5th Grade Teache r:

Orofino Elementary School Elementary Counselor:

Orofino Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist:

District-wide Occupational Therapist:

District-wide Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality instruction or specialized services tailored to student needs and Idaho Core Standards. Foster a positive, rigorous, and safe learning environment. Collaborate with staff, parents, and administration to support student academic and social growth. Maintain accurate student records and confidentiality in compliance with district policy. Integrate technology effectively into daily instruction or service delivery. Qualifications Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s) for the position. Strong background in teaching methods and effective classroom management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. For Specialists (SLP/OT/Counselor): Must hold appropriate Idaho professional licensure/Pupil Personnel Services endorsement.
