This position plays a key role in supporting academic growth, social development, and positive behavior in alignment with district priorities and schoolwide expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with district-adopted curriculum and state standards, ensuring rigorous and engaging learning for all students. Implement effective instructional practices that support diverse learners, including students with special needs, English learners, and students needing enrichment or intervention. Collaborate closely with grade-level team members to plan instruction, analyze student data, and design interventions that improve student outcomes. Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), contributing ideas, sharing strategies, and engaging in continuous improvement focused on student achievement. Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic success and social-emotional growth. Implement schoolwide expectations and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) with consistency and fidelity. Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and inform instructional decisions. Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding student progress, strengths, and areas for growth. Work collaboratively with specialists, support staff, and administration to ensure student success and coordinated services.

Qualifications:

Valid Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement (or eligibility). Strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices and curriculum implementation.
