Job Description
Duties:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the kindergarten curriculum
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students to learn and grow
- Foster a love for learning through interactive and hands-on activities
- Teach foundational skills in math, language arts, science, and social studies that align with Creative Curriculum and NAEYC.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom
