Job Description

Duties:
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the kindergarten curriculum
  • Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students to learn and grow
  • Foster a love for learning through interactive and hands-on activities
  • Teach foundational skills in math, language arts, science, and social studies that align with Creative Curriculum and NAEYC.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your care
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
  • Organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom
  • Ability to use technology for instructional purposes Central Child Care operates as a professional work environment and a high quality child care facility.
