In this dynamic role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students' academic and social development. Your expertise in curriculum development, literacy education, math, and classroom management will help shape well-rounded individuals prepared for future success. Duties Integrate the Christian faith into all facets of the school day and seek ways to model the Christian life. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects, including literacy, math, science, and social studies. Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations. Provide individualized support to students needing extra help, including those with special education needs. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, education strategies, and assist in the coordination of school events. Assist in education administration tasks to foster a collaborative school environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming assessments or events. Support early intervention initiatives to identify and assist students requiring additional academic or behavioral support. Experience Prior classroom experience working with elementary school students, particularly in grades 4-6. Demonstrated success in lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including special education. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention techniques. Background in private-Christian school environments is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proven ability to adapt teaching approaches using learning technology tools and educational software. All applicants must have a valid teaching license or be willing to follow the necessary steps to obtain one.
Pay:
$46,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
