As a key transitional year, this role also helps prepare students for middle school by building independence, organization, and strong academic habits. Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Valid Indiana Teaching License or eligibility. Elementary teaching experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Commitment to a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered learning environment. Dedication to partnering with parents in supporting each child's growth. Spanish proficiency or experience with English Language Learners is a plus. Passion for Catholic education and building a strong school community. Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum and standards. Integrate Catholic values into daily teaching and classroom life. Support students' spiritual, academic, and social growth. Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment. Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents. Collaborate with elementary and middle school teams to align expectations and support a smooth transition to middle school. Participate in school-wide events, liturgies, and activities.
