As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, developing foundational skills, and supporting the holistic growth of children from early childhood through upper elementary levels. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Assess student progress regularly using formative and standardized testing methods; adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs including special education and early intervention programs. Mentor students individually or in small groups, providing tutoring and additional support to help them reach their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, participate in professional development activities, and contribute to school-wide initiatives such as library services or extracurricular programs. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming events to foster strong home-school partnerships. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; relevant teaching certification or licensure required. Proven classroom experience working with children across various age groups; private school experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education practices, working with individuals with autism or other learning differences preferred. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for lesson planning and student assessment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively and collaborate with colleagues and parents. Demonstrated ability to develop creative curriculum content through curriculum development skills and writing proficiency.
