Ability to tackle many responsibilities and be flexible to change. Excellent classroom management skills, promotes positive student interaction, and is engaged in each student's well-being. Understands and embraces the whole child educational philosophy including the development of social-emotional skills, character development, and the arts. Demonstrates empathy and compassion towards students and their families. Ability to communicate effectively with families, classroom assistant, colleagues, and administration. Knowledge of Louisiana state standards, grade level expectations and requirements, Class Performance and TS GOLD. Completes tasks and responsibilities with a positive, diligent, and professional attitude. Exhibits effective time management. Follows assigned curriculum and scope and sequences while meeting the needs of students through creative and energetic lessons. Familiarity with the principles of Frog Street.
