We are looking for a teacher who brings energy, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning into the classroom, sparking wonder and discovery in our learners. Position Overview The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and academically rigorous classroom environment that supports student growth and reflects Blessed Sacrament School's values. The ideal candidate fosters a love of learning while supporting the development of foundational skills across the applicable subject areas. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
  • Cultivate a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning
  • Integrate hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences across content areas
  • Collaborate closely with grade-level colleagues and the broader school community
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with families
  • Incorporate technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Support the spiritual development of students in alignment with Catholic values and traditions
  • Participate actively in school life, including faculty meetings, professional development, and community events Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Massachusetts teaching licensure (or ability to obtain) Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices
  • Passion for teaching and hands-on learning
  • Commitment to collaboration, growth, and reflective practice
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
