Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods where applicable. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool children. Deliver engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and social-emotional learning to support holistic development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to promote respectful and cooperative interactions. Conduct assessments of individual child progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction and support early intervention efforts. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate student progress, address behavioral concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Incorporate special education techniques when working with children requiring additional support or individualized education plans (IEPs). Requirements Prior classroom experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare and toddler care. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education techniques. Certification or degree in early childhood education or related field is required; In addition, Must be certified to teach special education.
