The Elementary Teacher plans, organizes, and implements the instructional program in a Catholic environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God. Essential Functions Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans Incorporate primary sources, multimedia, and inquiry-based learning to deepen students' understanding Use a variety of assessment methods to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Promote a classroom culture of respect, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity Integrate technology and cross-curricular connections into lessons when appropriate Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities Participate in school events, professional development, and collaborative planning Lead a school club Uphold the school's mission, values, and policies Perform other duties as assigned from time to time. Position Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education Current MSDE certification or ability to achieve required certification. Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives. Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn about the integration of technology into lessons. Practicing Catholic preferred.
