The Social Studies Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our Pre-K3 to 8th grade Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standard based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Essential Functions Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school. Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes. Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment. Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student. Integrate technology into the classroom. Serve as the 5th grade homeroom and religion teacher, fostering students' academic, spiritual, and social development. Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members in educating students. Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field. Current or pending MSDE certification. Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.
