You will create a joyful, inclusive classroom where play and purpose meet, ensuring every student feels seen, heard, and encouraged to grow.

Key Responsibilities Inspire Discovery:

Plan and deliver hands-on, engaging lessons in early Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies aligned with Maine State Standards.

Differentiate & Support:

Use observations and assessments to meet students where they are, whether they are already reading or just learning to hold a pencil. Partner with

Families:

Act as a bridge between home and school, maintaining warm and proactive communication with parents and guardians.

Qualifications Required:

Valid 020 Certification (Elementary/Intermediate Education). Prior experience teaching at the elementary level is highly desirable. Deep understanding of early literacy development and "learning through play" methodologies. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A commitment to ongoing professional development.
