Summary Parkview Elementary is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1st Grade Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire young learners, and implement engaging lesson plans that promote academic growth and social development. This full-time position requires a commitment to nurturing each child's unique abilities and creating a supportive classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state standards and educational objectives.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, providing feedback and support to enhance individual learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support student success.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom that promotes safety and effective learning.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
• Address diverse learning needs by implementing differentiated instruction and providing additional support as necessary.
• Encourage social-emotional development by teaching conflict resolution, teamwork, and respect for others.
• Engage in school events and activities to foster a sense of community and support the overall mission of Parkview Elementary. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education in the state.
• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for early learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching young children.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
