Job Description

About Us The New Standard Academy is a forward-thinking school community dedicated to fostering a nurturing and academically rigorous environment for all students. We focus on the upward, forward, and outward growth of students, supporting diverse learners, and providing teachers with continuous professional development, new technology, and growth opportunities. We are searching for dedicated people with a strong passion for shaping the future.
Role and Essential Duties Instruction:
Develop and implement engaging, rigorous, and personalized lesson plans for K-6 students, aligning with state standards in all core subject areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies).
Assessment:
Utilize student information systems to track data, assess student growth, and drive instructional decisions.
Classroom Culture:
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Collaboration:
Work with the grade-level team, special education staff, and administration to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and student intervention practices.
Communication:
Maintain regular and positive communication with families regarding student progress. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (Master's preferred). Valid State Teaching Certificate with Elementary Education endorsement (K-5 or K-6). Demonstrated proficiency in technology, including Google Workspace and virtual classroom platforms.
