POSITION SUMMARY
Perry Public Schools is seeking two innovative and relationship-driven educators for our new Looping Positions. These teachers will have freedom to collaborate together with their schedule and delivery of instruction. In this model, 3rd and 4th grade students will learn together in one classroom for the 2026-2027 school year and 3rd grade will remain in that same cohort for the 2027-2028 school year. This "multi-year placement" allows teachers to eliminate the "start-up" period each fall, fostering deeper academic growth, stronger emotional safety, and transformative partnerships with families.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certification required.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited College or University.
- Deep knowledge of both 3rd and 4th-grade curriculum standards to ensure a seamless two-year academic journey.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff both in writing and verbally.
- Commitment to maintaining student records, achievement data, and attendance using district-approved technology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district policies regarding safety and professionalism.
