Aug 17, 2026 Job Description Ridgeview Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Developmental Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth in young learners. The ideal candidate will be committed to differentiated instruction, play-based learning, and strong classroom management to support all students' success. Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education Experience in early childhood or primary education is preferred Strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, and early literacy & math instruction Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and district curriculum standards Implement effective classroom management strategies that foster respect, responsibility, and independence Work collaboratively with grade-level teams, support staff, and administration to ensure student success Maintain open and positive communication with families through conferences, newsletters, and digital platforms Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives
