Description:
Shakopee Public Schools is looking for a 1.0 FTE 3rd Grade Teacher to join the team at Sweeney Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.
Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
Qualifications:
Current MN teaching license in Elementary Education Current MN teaching license in Elementary Education for grade levels K-6 preferred Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction Strong classroom management skills Effective communication skills Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
Working Conditions:
Classroom, office, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.
