DESCRIPTION

St. Odilia School is seeking a full-time 2nd grade teacher beginning in the 2026-27 academic year. We are looking for a teacher who is excited to teach 2nd-grade students and to bring joy and a love of learning to these young children. The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management skills and be able to motivate students toward academic excellence. QUALIFICATIONS

BA or BS Degree, Current MN Teaching License to correspond with courses taught. Must be a practicing Catholic and be excited to help teach religion in this important Sacramental preparation year. Exhibit competence in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter being taught. Demonstrate evidence of good classroom management techniques. Develop and maintain a positive rapport and relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience with technology in the classroom: SMARTBoard, iPad, MacBook. Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with school, students, staff, and parents.
