Full Job Description About Us:
Harvest Christian School (HCS) is a private Christian school dedicated to providing a Christ-centered, academically excellent education. We serve students from 6 weeks through 8th grade, preparing them to excel academically and grow spiritually.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our K-5 team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, faith-filled classroom environment where students thrive both academically and spiritually.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with academic standards Integrate biblical principles into daily instruction Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and families Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary and thematic units Communicate regularly with parents about student progress Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required) State teaching certification (preferred) Experience teaching elementary students (preferred) Strong commitment to Christian education and biblical integration Excellent communication and classroom management skills
