Certified Elementary School Teacher

The Knees Elementary School District is seeking applications for two (2) Elementary School Teacher positions at Twin Hills Hutterite School , beginning August 2026 . Twin Hills School serves approximately 15-18 students in a multi-grade classroom and is located on the Twin Hills Hutterite Colony within the Knees School District. The successful applicants must be able to work independently while teaching a variety of elementary subjects and supporting students' academic, social, and motor skill development. A classroom aide is available four days per week. The Knees community is located in a rural dry-land farming area approximately 42 miles north of Great Falls, 45 miles northwest of Fort Benton, and 23 miles east of Conrad and Brady . All area roads are gravel. Teacher housing is provided at no cost in district-owned apartments located approximately 13 miles from the school . Utilities and services provided include heat, laundry facilities, television, telephone, internet, and garbage service .

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet requirements for Montana Teaching Certification and Endorsement or be willing to obtain Montana certification. Fingerprinting and background check required.

Salary:

Starting Salary $38,000 DOE (Depending on Experience) . The district participates in the Montana Teacher Retirement System and offers additional bonuses when applicable . The position is supervised by the Knees School Board and the Chouteau County Superintendent of Schools .
