• We are seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team at St. Matthew's Catholic School. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
• Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school curriculum
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Utilize various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
• Provide individualized instruction to students who require extra support.
• Implement educational technologies to enhance the learning experience
• Mentor and guide students through their academic journey
• Administer and assess standardized tests to evaluate student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
• Engage students in library services and promote a love for reading
• Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; Master's degree is a plus
• State teaching certification or licensure
• Experience working in an elementary school setting, preferably in a private school environment
• Proficiency in utilizing learning technology effectively in the classroom
• Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and educational best practices
• Ability to educate and inspire young learners with patience and creativity
• Familiarity with mentoring students and providing academic support as needed
