K-5 & First Grade Teacher Kingdom Christian Academy - 3.7 Concord, NC Job Details Full-time $25,000 - $30,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Early childhood education Education Child Development Bachelor's degree in education Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Overview Kingdom Christian Academy is a NC State licensed private Christian school located in Concord, N.C. Our School is a Parent Partnership school that partners with the parents to empower the next generation for success through their education and Christian faith. Kingdom Christian Academy uses the ABEKA curriculum and we lead our students to develop excellence in every aspect of their lives. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects that are grade appropriate for Kindergarten and First Grade Students. Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and excitement in the learning process. Incorporate learning technology and educational resources to enhance instruction and student engagement. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly KCA operates Monday -Thursday with occasional Friday activities, such as school events, field days, etc. School year is Sept - May. Experience A Bachelors degree in Education, preferably early childhood education. Strong background in early childhood education principles and childhood development theories Is preferable, but the right candidate will be considered. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology tools. Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and administration effectively. Teachers are expected to be committed to their Christian faith and active in a local Christian assembly.
Pay:
$25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
