Our teachers seek God first and provide a truly unique educational approach that is centered around the development of mind, heart and character. The ideal candidate will be driven, flexible, and passionate about all that makes Starboard unique and beneficial. Teachers report to campus 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Wednesdays and Fridays are home-study days in which the teacher provides parents at home with lesson plans to complete their work.

TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Display a passion for God, love for children, and love of learning Agreement with the Starboard Christian Academy Statement of Faith A Bachelor's or Master's in Elementary Education or a related field. 2+ years of full-time elementary classroom teaching experience and/or 2+ years of experience in a hybrid model school Must be attentive to detail and very organized Create weekly lesson plans and home assignment for families that includes an outline of material covered in class and detailed instructions for home assignments Efficient and comfortable using computers Attend school events including and not limited to parent training sessions, information sessions for potential families, and school socials Learn more about our school here
