This position is more than a teaching role—it is a ministry opportunity to disciple students, partner with Christian families, and help shape young hearts and minds from a biblical worldview. The ideal candidate will be a committed follower of Jesus Christ, an active member in good standing of a Bible-believing local church, and a highly qualified elementary educator with a proven track record of classroom success. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Education and experience teaching using ABEKA and/or Bob Jones University Press curriculum. We are seeking an individual who demonstrates spiritual maturity, strong Christian character, a passion for Christian education, and the ability to effectively teach and manage an elementary classroom while integrating biblical truth throughout the school day. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education (strongly preferred) Several years of successful elementary teaching experience Experience teaching in a Christian school environment Experience with ABEKA and/or Bob Jones University Press curriculum Experience using FACTS Student Information System or similar educational software Strong classroom management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach all assigned subjects from a distinctly biblical worldview Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and Christian principles Create and maintain a structured, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment Encourage students' academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth Model Christlike attitudes, behaviors, and relationships for students Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents Utilize differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Collaborate with fellow faculty members and administration to support school-wide goals Maintain accurate records, attendance, lesson plans, and grades Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and other assigned responsibilities Support and uphold the mission, vision, and statement of faith of Trinity Christian School both on and off campus Spiritual Requirements Applicants must: Profess a personal faith in Jesus Christ and demonstrate a growing relationship with Him Be an active member in good standing of a Bible-believing Christian church Demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with biblical Christian values Wholeheartedly support and affirm the school's mission, philosophy, and statement of faith Possess a sincere desire to disciple and minister to students and families through Christian education Technology Requirements The successful candidate should be comfortable using educational technology and willing to learn the school's systems, including FACTS Student Information System for: Gradebook management Attendance tracking Lesson plan submission Parent communication Assignment creation and grading Position Details Full-time, in-person position Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience Ministry-focused, Christ-centered work environment Opportunity to make a lasting spiritual and academic impact in the lives of students Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education, have multiple years of successful elementary teaching experience, are active members of a Bible-believing church, and have prior experience teaching with ABEKA and/or Bob Jones University Press curriculum.
