Use hands-on activities, play-based learning, and Higher Order Thinking strategies to deepen student understanding. Prioritize explicit vocabulary instruction and language development across all content areas. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and cultural needs of young learners. Student Growth Use a variety of formative and early literacy assessments to monitor progress and guide instruction. Provide targeted small-group instruction to support skill development and close learning gaps. Participate in data team meetings and PLCs to reflect on student progress and strengthen instructional practices. Leadership Development Model and teach responsible, respectful, and safe behaviors in a nurturing classroom environment. Foster independence, confidence, and positive social skills in young students. Encourage students to take on age-appropriate leadership roles within the classroom and school community. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with grade-level teammates, instructional coaches, and administrators to support student success.
