In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage dynamic classrooms, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive curriculum that nurtures literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional growth. Your dedication will help shape confident, curious learners ready to thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies. Actively uphold and integrate Catholic teachings into the classroom, foster a culture of respect and service, and support students in growing both academically and spiritually. Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation. Provide individualized support and tutoring for students needing extra help, including those with special education needs or on the autism spectrum. Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive curricula that accommodate diverse learning styles and early childhood education principles. Incorporate library services and literacy education strategies to promote reading fluency and comprehension skills. Support early intervention initiatives to identify and address developmental or learning challenges promptly. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and communication with parents or guardians. Experience Prior classroom experience in elementary education is essential. Demonstrated expertise in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development across multiple subjects. Strong communication skills for working effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proven ability to work with children of various backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Familiarity with childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques. Experience integrating technology into lesson delivery and assessment tools to support diverse learners.

From $30,000.00 per year
