Job Description

Position:
Grade 3 Elementary School Teacher - Anticipated Opening -
Orchard Elementary School Position Details:
Ridgewood Public Schools seeks an Elementary Teacher at Orchard Elementary School. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Teaching multiple assigned students in accordance with system-wide goals and curriculum objectives Performing other duties within the scope of his/her employment and certification
Working Conditions:
Location:
Orchard Elementary School, Ridgewood Public Schools Full-time, permanent position, medical benefits and pension
Start Date:
August 26, 2026
End Date:
June 30, 2027. Plus 3 days of New Teacher Orientation in
August Salary Range:
$70,062-$125,242, commensurate with education and experience as per negotiated contract

Other Requirements:
New Jersey Elementary Teacher Certification Must demonstrate knowledge of upper grade mathematics Must demonstrate ability to differentiate instruction Must have ability to use technology to enhance learning and assess students Must be able to effectively communicate with teachers, parents, and administrators both verbally and in writing Must be able to work collaboratively and maintain harmonious relationships with students, colleagues, and parent
