Job Description

Who We Are:
Solare Collegiate is a game-changing public charter school in Albuquerque's Southwest Mesa. We serve grades kindergarten-8, with a high school and college preparatory focused academic program. Inherent to our learning model is that we confront the historic inequities in public education, and we work actively to dismantle them. Specifically, we focus on giving our scholars access to rigorous, grade level learning in all their classes, every day. Solare Collegiate does this by intentionally creating learning environments which allow our teachers to embed individualized, daily supports for skill gaps into their classes, without compromising scholar opportunities for grade level learning. We are looking for growth-focused educators who are passionate about teaching mathematics and science, and continuing to build our elementary team for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must share our unapologetic belief that all scholars are capable of excelling in a college preparatory learning environment, without compromising access to grade level content. The Fine Print:
Qualifications/Certifications By the time that employment begins, all teachers must have a Bachelor's degree By the time that employment begins, all teachers in our schools must meet certification requirements. Hold a valid New Mexico K-8 Elementary license Solare Collegiate can assist unlicensed teachers with selecting the best path for licensure Prior Experience Solare Collegiate does not require previous teaching experience Compensation Salary at Solare Collegiate is higher than that of the surrounding school district, and commensurate based on prior experience in education Compensation at Solare Collegiate includes a comprehensive benefits package, including contributions to the New Mexico Educational Retirement Board pension program Our Commitment to
