Job Description

Company Overview Turquoise Trail Charter School is the oldest charter school in its location, serving a vibrant community with a focus on fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. With a student body of approximately 700 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, the school is dedicated to providing quality education that inspires curiosity and growth. Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary School Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will inspire young learners to develop their Spanish language skills while integrating cultural awareness and effective teaching strategies. Your energy and passion for education will help cultivate a lively classroom atmosphere where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate language acquisition, literacy education, math, and cultural studies aligned with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques. Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary activities and support early childhood education initiatives. Provide mentorship and support to students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations to inform instruction and communicate progress with families. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish Language, or related field; teaching certification required. Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in diverse educational settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with students with autism or other special needs is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring techniques, and standardized testing procedures. Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, colleagues, and administrative staff. Knowledge of learning technology tools and library services to support student learning. Pay:
$57,600.00 - $80,000.00 per year
