POSITION
Kindergarten Prep Program:
(1.0 FTE) Teacher The above position may be available for the 2026 Summer School Program. The implementation of courses/classes and availability of positions is dependent on various factors, including student enrollment. Preference will be given to teachers currently teaching UPK or Kindergarten.LOCATION

Summer School position for program serving identified/recommended incoming Kindergarten students.Qualifications:
Experience working with kindergarten and/or early childhood children in the area of literacy and mathematics Experience teaching phonemic awareness and concepts of print Experience administering and interpreting literacy and math assessments Experience using research based early literacy and numeracy "best practices" Experience with delivering math instruction aligned with the District's philosophy and framework Familiarity with the NYS Learning Standards Experience incorporating literacy centers Experience in a co-teaching model Experience using data to drive instruction Ability to design a child centered, early literacy program that utilizes balanced literacy principles Excellent communication and demonstrated success with parental involvement Candidates must be available to work for the entire Summer School schedule without exceptionSalary:
$1,728 - $2,177Internal:
